What is Kantha?
Kantha quilts are made using numerous layers of recycled silk or cotton saris which are hand stitched in the traditional Bengal style called Kantha. What originated as a cost effect way to produce warm blankets has developed over the years into a beautiful art form, creating truly unique one off designs.
